Future Health Solutions was formed in 2010 and so is a relatively new consultancy organisation – but our team has extensive previous experience, working both in the NHS and health care consultancy.

Our main focus is to provide customised support to GP Practices, although our experience can also provide added value across the NHS and private health care.

FHS’s particular strengthens lie in supporting GP Practices in a range of more specialist areas that are only needed from time-to-time.  These include:

• Business planning - including agreeing setting clear goals for the future for service improvements, profitability and developing the workforce
• Support for bids to win new Practice contracts (such as APMS).
• Business cases for new schemes/ extensions
• Advise and bid management for tenders under the Any Qualified Provider scheme.
• Human resources support for staff issues (recruitment, grievances, dismissals, procedures, staff handbooks, etc)
• Preparation for registration by Care Quality Commission
• Partnerships formations/dissolution support
• Risk assessments/risk reviews
• Service planning, and developing plans to meet local health needs
• Confidential disputes resolution within the practice
• Training and development
• Mobilisation/project planning (e.g. for new contract, premises moves, etc).

We recognise that every Client is different.    The FHS team have all been “on the other side of the consultancy fence” at earlier stages in their career, and have contracting in external support from time-to-time to assist their organisations when this has been needed.  So we have a good idea of precisely what our Clients need from us.

Before making any proposal to support a Client, we therefore aim to understand thoroughly their own particular circumstances and requirements.  This is followed by a detailed proposal that outlines ways in which FHS can help, as well as indication of expected timescales and costs.   Only at that stage will a Client need to decide whether they wish to firm up a consultancy agreement with FHS.
